Participant Rules & Eligibility

Rules version 2026-08-17

These rules apply to paid entry in a regular CityStar competition. The current rules and mandatory confirmations are shown again before payment.

1. Social Media Follower Limit

You may participate only if you have fewer than 150,000 followers on every individual social media platform. If you have 150,000 or more followers on any one platform, you are not eligible for a regular competition.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old. CityStar may require valid proof of age or identity.

3. Real Person & One Account

Each participant must be a real person using their own account. Multiple participant accounts, false identities, or competing through another person's account are prohibited.

4. Accurate Information

Registration information must be true, accurate, and complete. False or misleading information may result in disqualification.

5. Eligibility Verification

CityStar may verify identity, age, social accounts, follower counts, account ownership, and other eligibility information before, during, or after a competition.

6. Fair Competition

Cheating, bots, fake accounts, purchased followers or engagement, automated activity, and any attempt to gain an unfair advantage are prohibited.

7. No Manipulation

Participants must not artificially manipulate votes, rankings, views, engagement, results, or any measurement used in a competition.

8. Official Competition Rules

By participating, you agree to follow these rules, the Competition Terms & Conditions, and the Community Guidelines. Violations may result in disqualification.

9. Participation Fee

The competition participation fee is $19.99 USD. Payment does not guarantee eligibility. Refunds and cancellations follow the official Competition Terms & Conditions.

The in-app entry screen displays the current enforceable version. If these rules change, entrants must review and accept the updated version.
